BMX trailer?
the rig Photo: Ray Castillo As long as I’ve known Ray Castillo he has always been coming up with crazy ideas in his head. I’m pretty sure this rack was cued from spending to many hours at the Visalia Cyclery with nothing to do. I remember always laughing when i saw Ray roll up to the skatepark with this tandem looking bike trailer/rack. None the less it’s pretty innovative...

Had a school assignment of shooting photos at 12000 iso i n order to see the ammount of noise your camera gets. Not to bad but i prefer not shooting over 800. Heres some photo from the bikeark of peanut and one of chad.

woodwardpark
Chad and I are in the final stages of filming for his Reco part. We went out riding street and randomly stopped by woodward park. Things are pretty run down out there and that berm is still haunting me. Thinking about going and getting the straight set running, unless someone has a good spot near fresno state to get some jumps going?

johnny c
I’ve known Johnny c for quite some time now, we are quite alot alike in some ways.  People used to mistake us for borthers when we were young chaps and now we’ve both migrated to Fresno to do the college thing at fresno state.  Johnny has been going through some rough times right now with a bad back, he has to hit therapy all the time and can bearly ride his rode bike.  I’m sure...

The Sanctuary
All this rain has made for a pretty dreary weekend so far, however this evening was pretty awesome.  Myself and Bro Chris drove up to the compound, andreas and some other fresno bike park locals were there as well.  At this point i should probably stop and correct myself..  The Compound is now officially titled The Sanctuary.  The big curve wall compound tagging has been now replaced with...

WatchWatch
this is worth rebloging, John Ivers kills it, i’ve ridden with him in Santa Cruz a few times and he came and road pools over here in summer.  Also it was filmed by beerman, he seems to be stepping up his video game lately, really stoked on that.

test photo's
I’m still in the process of brain storming ideas for my first photo book (school project). One of my ideas was to do something similar to bruce gilden as a form of street photography.  However, instead of taking the usual/easy approach as the observer, i would be walking around and getting in peoples faces with a flash at a low angle.  This low angle and weird flash posotion gives a very...

holgaholic
I’ve come to the realization that there are alot of words out there that seems to be forming in the world around me.  These words i speak of hit me in a weird place and just don’t do it for me.  For example the term holgogarphy and lomography just sound rubbish to me.  However, as trendy as it is i do enjoy the muted images that come from holga cameras.  My girlfriend recently bought...

golden light
One of the obvious great treats coming from using a digital camera is the ability to check your exposure and visually see the aesthetics that the light portrays.  I’ve noticed that recently i have been using the sun as a main rim light peeking into the composition.  I’m a fan of the golden colors and washed out look it portrays. Here are some photos from the fresno bikepark of Chris...

Profile in fresno part II

Go get the new issue of DIG it has the fresno pool article in it. Profile North Cali Edit from...
